Secure, Ephemeral Messaging for Everyone
NopeNotes is a privacy-first messaging tool designed to help you share sensitive information securely. Whether you need to send a password, a private confession, or confidential data, our encryption ensures that only you and your recipient can ever read the message.
We’re not just privacy-first,
we’re privacy-only.
We take privacy so seriously we reinvented what it looks like to create a secure note... by ensuring we can never read it.
No Accounts
We don't need your email, name, or phone number. Just write and share.
Client-Side Encryption
Encryption happens in your browser. We never see the unencrypted text.
Auto-Deletion
Notes are automatically deleted from our servers once read or expired.
How much is your privacy worth?
Other tools may be free, but that usually means YOU are the product. We believe in a different approach.
Our simple promise: your privacy matters more than our data collection.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does NopeNotes work?
When you create a note, we generate a random encryption key in your browser. This key is used to encrypt your text before it's sent to our servers. The key is included in the link you share (after the # symbol) but is never sent to us. This means even if we wanted to read your note, we couldn't.
Is it really secure?
Yes. We use industry-standard AES-GCM encryption. Because the decryption key is part of the URL fragment await (the part after #), it is never sent to the server when the link is requested. The decryption happens locally on the recipient's device.
Can I recover a deleted note?
No. Once a note is read or expires, it is permanently deleted from our database. There are no backups and no way to recover it. This is a core feature of our privacy protection.
