💰 How do credits work?

Credits are the currency that powers NopeNotes. Here's everything you need to know:

• Each note you create uses exactly 1 credit
• New passkeys start with 0 credits - purchase credits to begin creating notes
• Credits are tied to your specific passkey/device
• Unused credits don't expire
• You can purchase additional credits anytime

Think of credits like postage stamps - you need one for each message you want to send.

🔒 How private are my messages?

Your privacy is our top priority. Here's how we protect your messages:

• Messages are encrypted before leaving your device
• The encryption key stays in your browser (never sent to our servers)
• We cannot read your messages - only you and your recipient can
• Notes are automatically destroyed after being read or after 7 days
• No accounts, email addresses, or personal information required

We designed NopeNotes to be so private that even we can't see what you're sending.

💳 What's your refund policy?

We want you to be completely satisfied with NopeNotes. Our refund policy is simple:

• Unused credits are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of purchase
• Used credits cannot be refunded (they've already been consumed)
• Technical issues preventing you from using credits are covered

NopeNotes works on any device with a modern browser and security features:

• Any device with fingerprint, face ID, or PIN security
• Modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge

The only requirement is that your device supports WebAuthn security standards.

⏰ How long do notes last?

Notes have built-in expiration for your privacy:

• Notes disappear immediately after being read
• Unread notes automatically expire after 7 days
• Once a note is read or expires, it's permanently deleted
• No way to recover expired or read notes

This ensures your messages don't linger around forever and maintains your privacy.
